But here are my baby names. I do realize however that since it may be awhile before I pop out some kids, these names might change…reasons why? Someone in my family might use some of these names, therefore I cannot use them or the names might get too popular, and I can’t have a normal name for my kids.

Yeah, the names were (mostly) jointly decided on. Here are some explanations on the names:
– Wesley Thomas: Thomas, mostly after Mr. Jefferson, but also in part to my favorite cousin Thomas, as well as other notable historic Thomases. And we just liked Wesley and thought it went well with the Thomas.
– Oliver Lawrence: Lawrence, after Ashley’s pops. And again, we just liked Oliver and it went well with the Lawrence.
– Lydia Kaye: Ashley likes Lydia, and I’m ok with it. Kaye after my mommy.
– Sophia Lien: Sophia derives from the Greek word for wisdom (think philoSOPHY); it’s also the name of one of the reincarnations of Elly from Xenogears, though this is only a very small reason for the name. Lien is one of Ashley’s g-ma’s names (it’s Chinese, but pronounced “Lynn”).
– Jayde Demaris: Ashley really wants to be able to call one of her girls “JD”… but I don’t like either of these names, and Ashley didn’t even consult me before posting to the world that we’d be using it as a name. Needless to say, I’m pretty sure we won’t be using this name. Sorry Ash. I still love you though.

Wesley ultimately ended up being one of the most interesting characters on Buffy and Angel. I approve.
